Just to give you an idea, this sequence, taken from the DVD (which includes full short form in square and round versions) is5 movements , the full sequence of the short form is 34 movements and the full long form is 120, it is after all classical Yang family from the Yang Ban Hou, Wu Quan Yu lineage and classical Wu after Wu Jian Chaun (as far as I know he invented the square form) Now we call it Wu Dang as Cheng Tin Hung distanced himslf from the Wu Family Interestingly it is also known as Practical Tai Chi Chuan as this was the way Hong Kong journalists referred to it as a result of its huge success against hard style competitors in full contact contests. indeed in Europe, Practical Tai Chi Chuan International is one of the largest Tai Chi groups. Now, perhaps as a result of Chen Tin Hung's demise, it is also known as Cheng Family Wu style, as is the way of progress, my students refer to Golden Rooster Tai Chi, or at best Golden Rooster Wu Dang. Wu Dang means to match the warrior, a reference to the legendary Emperor Fu Hsi.  Perhaps this is not my usually coherent blog article, but then I was just going to write a few lines to introduce the dvd.
